Sunset Key Cottages Key West, Florida Travel Guide

Sunset Key Cottages by Opal Collection did not disappoint! It was the perfect place to travel after travel restrictions began to ease and I’m ready to go back now that things are completely normal.

According to Google, Sunset Key is a 27-acre residential neighborhood and resort island in the city of Key West, Florida. It is located about 500 yards off the coast of the island of Key West.

Once you arrive in Key West, you take a boat over to the island. It’s a very short and easy ride. How fun to stay on a private island! I loved being able to see Key West at night with all the lights from off-shore.

Sunset Key has amazing amenities like pools with a pool bar, beachside service, private beach with plenty of chairs and towels, a spa, and a couple of places to dine. You can also get grocery service delivered to your cottage. The cottages are in good shape for how long they’ve been there. I really enjoyed their cozy, beachy, Bahamian feel.
