From a gentle hand touch to those quick smiles exchanged, my goal is to capture who you are and the love you have.
MEET MARKIE
Growing up in the south, I spent most of my childhood playing outside barefoot with my pups. I always loved to be outside and still do. With a creative spirit, my favorite activities involved music and art. My parents gifted me my first camera when I was young and I've been hooked ever since.
Fast forwarding to college, I continued to pursue all things creative by focusing my studies on communications and music. It was in a performance group that I met my now husband. Falling in love with him is the easiest thing I've ever done! Today, we live out our love story along with our daughter and Labrador Retriever.
While beautiful images are important, they are not everything. I believe in people. I believe in caring for and serving others above all else. My goal is to ultimately be a friend and a shoulder to lean on through some of life's most exciting and tender moments.
I count my job as a success if you and I have become friends by your wedding day! I’m the one who will help your grandma with her lipstick, fetch you champagne, and meet you on the dance floor.

My family completes me and is the reason for everything I do. My husband, Rob, and I have a precious angel, Mayley. And, our firstborn, Paisley, has four paws and a tail!
FILLS ME UP
The sun on my face, singing, weekday hiking trips, shopping for handbags, journaling and coloring. Oh, and having HGTV, The Office or Friends playing in the background.
